The Office of Development and Communications is responsible for the implementation of  the school's fundraising activities, donor relations, alumni engagement activities, and internal and external communications, including media relations, marketing, website, digital signage, hallway displays, and publications. In addition, the staff develop and implement graphic, style, and editorial standards.

Our office partners with individuals, corporations and foundations in supporting a wide range of important activities including capital projects, faculty support, academic priorities, and scholarships.

The office provides strategic communications expertise to meet the school’s institutional objectives, including media relations, collateral materials development, online communications initiatives, and branding. We are available to consult with departments, centers, programs, and faculty members on a wide range of communications and development issues.

Our goal is to protect, maintain and enhance the reputation of the Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington through the development of consistent messages and cohesive design for both print and electronic media and to practice outstanding stewardship with donors and alumni.

As the official voice of the School, the Office of Development and Communications helps articulate the school's mission of preventing disease, promoting health, and improving quality of life.
