Global Partnerships

Global Partnerships

International school-level research, teaching, faculty exchange, and service partnerships are fundamental to the mission of the Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington.

With faculty collaborating and conducting research in nearly 50 countries around the world, our mission is to develop partnerships and outreach activities by identifying, establishing, and maintaining international relationships in order to facilitate such research collaboration, as well as student and faculty mobility and programming.

We work with the Office of International Partnerships to identify partners in and beyond the countries of strategic priority laid out by Indiana University President Michael McRobbie. Given the IU Global Gateway Network, we hope to also see faculty and collaborators utilize these wonderful facilities in China, India, and Germany. Further, there is Gateway Seed Funding for their use, and the development of new gateway offices in Africa, Brazil, and Turkey is on the horizon.

Indiana University School of Public Health-Bloomington faculty interested in establishing an international partnership should review the document Developing International Partnerships or contact Director of Global Health Affairs, Justin Otten (jotten@indiana.edu).
