Harry Dippold Scholarship

Awarded to undergraduate students, the Harry Dippold Scholarship is given to students majoring in programs within the Department of Kinesiology with demonstrated financial need.

This scholarship was established in 1985 as a memorial to Harry Dippold by his wife Natalie. Dr. Harry Dippold, Ed.D., attended the historic Normal College of the American Gymnastics Union in Indianapolis in 1923 later receiving a B.S. in Education in 1942 majoring in special education. The Normal College, having moved from New York City to Indianapolis in 1907, was the forerunner of physical education programs on the Bloomington campus of Indiana University.
