Our two-year, full-time MPH program provides students with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of public health by immersing students in the core disciplines of publci health with an emphassi on practice, policy, and community engagement. Students choose one of six areas of concentration, and have the opportunity to work with more than 50 faculty members through extensive coursework and real-world, practical engagements.
Our MPH program prepares students to serve as public health professionals and leaders in government, business, industry, higher education, non-profit organizations, and public and private health care settings. The program is taught by expert, engaged faculty and is based on the core competencies that guide the Certified Public Health (CPH) examination for students graduating from accredited programs of public health.
After completing our MPH program, students will be prepared to successfully pursue this new certification that is quickly becoming the expectation for the nation’s leading public health employers.
