PAIP Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Kinesiology, Physical Activity Instruction Program (PAIP) is to provide high quality programs of instruction in a variety of physical activities which emphasize lifetime skills, sports, and fitness to students in the university community, and to provide opportunity and support to graduate students in the Department of Kinesiology.
Attendance is mandatory for elective classes because they are activity based classes. Students will be allowed a maximum of three (3) absences. If the student exceeds the number of allowable absences the student has three options:
- Receive a grade of F.
- Officially withdraw from the course. This requires permission of instructor.
- Follow the appeal procedures through your instructor and/or the PAIP Coordinators or the Student's Advocates Office.
For an updated list of courses offered through PAIP, please visit the school bulletin. Note: The school bulletin will open in a new window. Scroll a little over half way down, or search the page for Physical Activity Instruction - SPH-I, to find the specific PAIP classes.
